The colouring seems all off for the intelligent hub, I cannot see any of the buttons that should be on the bottom bar, if I click on something random, I will see blue text appear, so I know there are links on the bottom of the screen.
I have also tried changing to night mode, day mode, high contract, etc and all of the accessibility options still does not fix the fact that the colours are really wrong.
Has anyone seen this?

Für ein Schulprojekt, musste ich einen Windows-Server 2019 aufsetzen und AD etc konfigurieren. Jetzt wollte ich testen ob ich mich mit einem Client in der Domäne anmelden kann. Routing habe ich ebenfalls auf die richtige Netzwerkkarte eingestellt. Ich habe auch schon von einem virtuellen Switch gehört verstehe aber das Prinzip nicht ganz.
Kann Mir da jemand behilflich sein?

I am currently experiencing a problem with the connectivity of my VMs (ubuntu, windows10) which are installed on vmware 15 pro .
When I put the two machines on vmnet1, the ping works in both directions (ubuntu --> windows; windows --> ubuntu).
I added a new network card on vmware (vmnet2) and connect the two machines to this subnet in host-only mode. The windows machine can ping linux but ubuntu cannot reach the windows. Firewalls are disabled.
Do you have an idea to fixe this problem?

wir haben aktuell ein dringendes Problem, dass bei unserer VMWare Umgebung (ESXi 6.0.0) der Datastore nicht mehr angezeigt wird. In der Host Liste werden die Server mit dem Verweis auf eine UUID + Pfad der VMWare Files angezeigt, in Klammer steht dann noch "kein Zugriff". RAID Controller wird angezeigt, auch das RAID steht im RAID BIOS sauber da.

I have upgrade form Client version 5.1 to 5.2, Now I always have a discinnect like to set up a session with PCoIP, with Blast I have no problems. With version 5.1 everything goes well, if I remove 5.2 and put 5.1 on it everything goes well again. I have Ubuntu 18.04.3 (KDE Neon) Are there more people here who are affected?

Hi team,
Currently we have a issue regarding the vmwaretools on windows server 2019, if we install vmwaretool 11.0.5, our windows server 2019 will have docker run time issue. our windows container will run crashed or hung up there.

but if we downgrade to vmwaretool to version 10.X, no issues. Our IT is using ESXI,6.* to create the windows server 2019 environment for us.

This worked until I upgraded from player to workstation.
After starting guest in workstation cannot relocate to different monitor. the drag and move is not functioning along with the minimize, full screen & close button missing in the top corner.
searched the web for anyone having the same issue and cant find anyone having the same problem...

We are using scripts to provision and up until about 3 weeks ago they executed as intended, now they will only execute as root. Scripts not run as root fail to execute. Some of the scripts will continue to function by adding "sudo -u" to the script but several will not. Is there any reason that this is happening? I don't believe anything has changed in our environment. Here is a script that will not run as root but was working until recently:

Коллеги, добрый день! Столкнулся с проблемой - на одном из старых серверов крутилась ВМ на базе Windows 7, возникла необходимость перенести ее на ESXi 6.5. Воспользовался vCenter Converter, приведя заодно версию к 13 (была 9-я). Ошибок в ходе конвертации не было. Машина нормально запускается на новом сервере, но: к ней были прикручено 2 USB-устройства, там весьма экзотическая система, очень старая и собрать заново ее не вариант. Так вот - аппаратный ключ и контроллер переключил на новый сервер, по логике оставалось просто добавить эти устройства в ВМ уже на новом сервере, но увы - я не могу редактировать свойства ВМ - возникает ошибка:

Где 192.168.0.20 - новый хост на базе ESXi 6.5. Пробовал также в Google Chrome, в MS Edge, даже в IE11 - то же самое. Погуглил - кто-то советовал скачать vmx-файл этой машины, удалить там все строки с упоминанием usb, затем залить обратно и добавить USB-контроллер и устройства заново. Сделал, добавил. Но теперь в загруженной машине появилось неработающее USB-устройство, которое не удается запустить. Причем в прежнем виде было 6 USB-устройств и все без ошибок. Теперь появилось седьмое, которое не работает. Датчики на USB не определяются. Какой у меня еще есть выход? Почему я не могу в нормальном режиме отредактировать конфигурацию машины, чтобы не лазить на низком уровне в файле конфигурации? Если есть платный компонент для этого - озвучьте, пожалуйста. Машину собрать заново не получится, получается, что я могу только на ESXi 5.5 ее повесить без ущерба работе, но такого сервера больше нет.
I've read vmware docs all day but haven't gotten a clear answer that I can see yet. We have a standalone pc setup at a remote site. Users can connect to a VDI through the existing Internet they have there. What we need is for the option to print to the "local" printer on that pc from the VDI. We're currently using the latest Horizon client. With the current setup, the printer is not picked up in the VDI. VDI is currently Windows 7, migrating to 10 next week. USB is enabled on the VM. I do see a "Thinprint for Vmware" port available on the VDIs. What else do I need to setup/check?

I have iMac with Catalina that is sharing Internet via Wifi. Unfortunately this means that I cannot connect iPad as secondary display via wifi or cannot login automatically using iWatch.
Could it be possible to share both Wifi and Ethernet network adapters at the same time with VMware host?
I would like to implement Wifi access point with Linux running on top of Fusion and at the same time enable better iPad / iWatch integration with iMac.

KB2077516 states to use -d to specify a datastore.
Can I pre-create a folder on the shared datastore and point the dumps to it for all ESXi’s? (Or does it have to be a folder per host)
Can you confirm that this wont touch the datastore but simply place the coredump into respective folder? (As shared datastore has VMs running)

On the Horizon 7 Administrator, there is an export option for the Users and Groups page (Highlighted) which will export a csv file of the table.

Vmware forum/blog page says to change the driver for the broadcom from ntg3 to tg3.
However, this is 6.7u3 and there's no tg3 driver for anything after 6.5.
Looking for some ideas as to how to proceed.
With the release of Horizon 7.12, comes a new feature called Prewarm Sessions. Being a Health Care customer, our #1 complaint from staff is the login delay for Windows 10.
After reading this, we quickly installed Horizon 7.12 in our test environment...and have NO IDEA how this actually works. There is zero documentation on this new feature, other than what you see below.
If anyone knows how to trigger the API call to actually Prewarm a session, please enlighten us as to the method. This is a shout-out to the VMware Marketing department...as it's a pretty lame explanation. I have my VMware TAM researching it now, and will post a reply when I find out.
Prewarm Sessions. The new Prewarm session time limit now allows you to enjoy a faster initial
login. The first login of the day typically takes longer than subsequent logins, as you wait for initial connections, authentication, and desktop provisioning. Reconnecting to a desktop is always faster than a fresh connection. With this latest release, the initial login is treated like a reconnection. Faster logins make everybody happy, but especially for users whose initial login might be as time critical as any subsequent logins, such as health care workers. The speed is accomplished through APIs, and includes a Prewarm Time Limit which is 30 minutes by default.
