I am building a new environment. I have 2 nodes where management network sits on a VSS.
I am using vDS for eveything else (NFS,Vmotion,etc) .My cluster is configured for percentage (use 50/50%).
I am able to vmotion just fine but I can't put a host in maintenance mode if it contains VM.
This issue happens when admission control is enabled (regardless of option selected). Disable admission control and it works fine.
I also have no issue with maintenance mode if the host does not contain VM. As soon as I place on VM on the host it fails. The cluster generates "insufficient vSphere HA resources..." I have about 280Gb of RAM in cluster and only about 20Gb consumed at this stage. Changing the percentage values does not make difference either.
Any ideas?
